A blog created as a way for a family to share what it is like living with autism as part of the mix.

We are a family living near Cambridge, England. Family comprises Mum, Dad, daughter, elder son, younger son. Mum, Dad, daughter and younger son are achingly neurotypical. Daughter and younger son are sometimes collectively referred to as “the neurotips”. Don’t judge us. Elder son (and middle child) is severely autistic in a way that often manifests in ways that make us laugh, howl, swell with pride, rage, scratch our heads or just shrug. He’s flamboyant and does nothing by half measures. To us and friends, he’s Pip.
